The smoking gun proving Obama belonged to the “stars and crescent” occurred during his interview with influential pastor Rick Warren, when he publicly admitted, “I believe Jesus died for my sins and I’m redeemed through him – that is a source of strength and sustenance on a daily basis.” Further testimony came with his 2009 Notre Dame graduation speech, where Obama referenced his community organising days in Chicago, boldly declaring, “it was through this service I was brought to Christ.”

His decisive break with Christianity and subsequent undying fealty to the Islamic empire clearly then occurred at the White House Easter prayer breakfast, where he welcomed the esteemed guests as his “brothers and sisters in Christ“. And how can one forget Obama publicly denouncing Reverend Jeremiah Wright, his pastor for over 20 years at the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago?

However, despite this powerful evidence of his Islamic faith, my mind is plagued with doubts concerning Obama’s authentic Muslim credibility. The world takes photos of him eating lunch during Ramadan, a holy month for Muslims in which we abstain from food and drink until sunset. Also, Obama apparently likes beer – which is strictly forbidden in Islam – and he never hesitates to flagrantly exhibit this sin. Memorable examples include his drinking bout with Professor Henry Louis Gates’ arresting officer, Sgt Crowley, or his chugging a few bottles while awkwardly bowling to pacify nervous, middle-class white voters in Pennsylvania during the primaries.

It also appears that President Obama indulges in eating swine – thoroughly forbidden for Muslims – and he was subsequently caught devouring a tasty piece of salami with Mayor Bloomberg of New York, who may also be a closet Muslim given his recent stirring and eloquent defence of religious liberties in light of the Park 51 mosque controversy.

So I worry about my Muslim brother’s observance. In over two years, Obama has yet to step foot in a mosque. Furthermore, when given the ripe opportunity to pick a Muslim judge for the supreme court – thereby implementing Sharia law through stealth judicial activism – Obama instead nominated Elena Kagan (a Jew and a female to boot!). His cabinet, which counsels him on the most critical domestic and foreign policy issues, does not contain even one member with an Arabic name.

Allah said in Holy Quran:

وَلِكُلٍّ وِجْهَةٌ هُوَ مُوَلِّيهَا فَاسْتَبِقُواْ الْخَيْرَاتِ أَيْنَ مَا تَكُونُواْ يَأْتِ بِكُمُ اللّهُ جَمِيعًا إِنَّ اللّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

To each is a goal to which Allah turns him; then strive together (as in a race) Towards all that is good. Wheresoever ye are, Allah will bring you Together. For Allah Hath power over all things. (2:148)

Here Allah expressed that each person has a way and direction, to which he is guided by the Lord.

And Allah swt said:
قُلْ كُلٌّ يَعْمَلُ عَلَى شَاكِلَتِهِ

Say: “Everyone acts according to his own disposition. (17:84)

We wish to remind our readers that we are all working for Mawlana Shaykh Nazim. He is our master, our Sultan, our life and our breath and our Qiblah.

Shaykh Hisham has his ways and methods, and has ijazah, permission to use what he has learned at the hands of Grandshaykh and Mawlana Shaykh Nazim, in guiding mureeds (irshad), in leading dhikr, hadrah, in giving suhbat, in ma`rifat, azeemah and haqiqat. He takes his orders directly from Mawlana Shaykh Nazim. Shaykh Hisham is fully acquainted with both Shari`ah and with the inner and outer aspects of the tariqah, sulook and the conduct of the path, adab.

We believe, as should you, that Mawlana Shaykh knows everything that is going between his mureeds. Mawlana Shaykh doesn’t need anyone to interfere with his relationship to Shaykh Hisham. Comments or criticisms of mureeds, are irrelevant for they are not his teachers. His teachers are Grandshaykh Abdullah al-Fa’iz ad-Daghestani and Mawlana Shaykh Nazim Adil al-Haqqani. As such, if any misunderstandings occur, they must be referred directly to Mawlana Shaykh Nazim.

An employee in a company reports directly to the boss. I cannot tell the other employee how to work. If I have an issue with another employee, I go directly to the boss and discuss it, and the boss will take care of that issue. This is way intelligent, academic, sensible people work.

Imam Shafi`i said, “I can defeat 100 `alims. But if one ignorant comes he will defeat me because whatever logical argument one presents he will rejects it out of stubbornness and arrogance.”

If you wish to provide constructive criticism, the way is open, but to simply attack like a barking dog, is not of benefit; it is a sign of ignorance. As the proverb goes, “The dogs bark and the caravan moves on.”

Shaykh Hisham is very determined and firm on the way of tariqah and the way of Ahl as-Sunnah. By Mawlana Shaykh Nazim’s order he has visited leaders of many nations. He is meeting constantly with the highest scholars of many nations and addressing their concerns. He has spoken to mass gatherings of over 200,000 on several occasions. He did his best for Mawlana Shaykh, and his achievements are there open, for all to see and know. You may refer to the following link for Mawlana Shaykh’s many statements describing the station of Shaykh Hisham, his good pleasure with him and his anger with those who harm him.

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim have given many titles to Mawlana Shaykh Hisham as many people know, and this is enough for us. As Mawlana Shaykh said, “Shaykh Hisham has his channel to Prophet (s).” And Mawlana Shaykh Nazim has described Shaykh Hisham as the “Speaker of the Awliya” and he has addressed him by the title of Qutb al Mutassarrif. And he said, “Anyone who comes against Shaykh Hisham comes against me. Prophet is sufficient for me and I am sufficient for Shaykh Hisham.”

We see Mawlana Shaykh Hisham speaking almost daily with Mawlana Shaykh Nazim and Mawlana Shaykh Nazim never said anything about the teachings on our website or any other place.

In reality, Mawlana Shaykh Hisham is one of the rare few that strives to make our Sultan happy and avoids making Mawlana upset and sad by criticism and complaints. Instead he tries to lighten his burdens by words of love and reverence.

May we all learn to follow from his exemplary character and good manners, for he is as described in the Quran:

وَعِبَادُ الرَّحْمَنِ الَّذِينَ يَمْشُونَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ هَوْنًا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ الْجَاهِلُونَ قَالُوا سَلَامًا

And the servants of ((Allah)) Most Gracious are those who walk on the earth in humility,
and when the ignorant address them, they say, “Peace!”; (25:63)

Having summarily mentioned that talebearing (namima) is unlawful, with the evidence for this and a description of its nature, we now want to add a fuller explanation of it. Imam Abu Hamid Ghazali says, “Talebearing is a term that is usually applied only to someone who conveys to a person what another has said about him, such as by saying, ‘So-and-so says such and such about you.’ In fact, talebearing is not limited to that, but rather consists of revealing anything whose disclosure is resented, whether resented by the person who originally said it, the person to whom it is disclosed, or by a third party. It makes no difference whether the disclosure is in word, writing, a sign, nodding, or other; whether it concerns word or deed; or whether it concerns something bad or otherwise. The reality of talebearing lies in divulging a secret, in revealing something confidential whose disclosure is resented. A person should not speak of anything he notices about people besides that which benefits a Muslim to relate or prevents disobedience. Anyone approached with a story, who is told, ‘So-and-so says such and such about you,’ must do six things:

(1) disbelieve it, for talebearers are corrupt, and their information is unacceptable,

(2) tell the talebearer to stop, admonish him about it, and condemn the shamefulness of what he has done;

(3) hate him for the sake of Allah Most High, for he is detestable in Allah’s sight, and hating for the sake of Allah Most High is obligatory;

(4) not think badly of the person whom the words are supposedly from, for Allah Most High says, ‘Shun much of surmise’ (Koran 49:12);

(5) not let what has been said prompt him to spy or investigate whether it is true, for Allah Most High says ‘Do not spy’ (Koran 49:12);

(6) and not to do himself what he has forbidden the talebearer to do, by relating it to others.”

It is prescribed to perform the following throughout the month:

Every day in addition to any recitations already being carried out:

1. Ashadu an la ilaha ill’ Allah wa ashadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasuluhu (saws) – three times

2. Astaghfirullah (300 times).

3. Give sadaqah (charity) daily for the sake of Allah Almighty with the intention of lifting away afflictions and misfortunes.

4. Surat Al-Fil (seven times)

5. Ayat al-Kursi (7 times).

It is a good practice, and that of Grandshaykh ‘Abdullah al-Fa’iz al-Daghestani, to sacrifice a lamb (qurban) for the sake of Allah Almighty on the 27th of Safar.
